This is Evelyn visiting for her baby photos at 4 months old. She is relaxing on my comfy beanbag in the studio and showing off some of her new skills – tummy time!
For when little people are too little to sit up by themselves I do have a special cushion that allows them sit safe and supported. This rests on top of my ginormous squishy beanbag so that we have all options covered for seated photos, relaxing on their back or side and of course for practicing a little tummy time (the beanbag can be ramped up to make it even easier for them). Couple these with my increasingly large blanket stash (seriously, my husband is beginning to roll his eyes at me for that one!) and we have loads of options for great photos while your little one is as comfy as possible.
