Baby Kya was a little bit grumpy at her first Joey Club session and definitely not up for too many photos.  Who can blame her at only four months old?  Still then we managed to get a good set of images with a combination of cuddles from mum and dad, toy distractions and little bit of singing and silliness to get her smiling.  We didn’t have work at all though at her second Joey Club session – as you can see she was a ball of happy energy, full of smiles and happy to change outfits and pose for the camera.

Her mum had brought along a lovely outfit and some bunting from Kya’s room which we used but I always have a box of outfits and accessories that you’re welcome to delve into.  So delve we did and we very much enjoyed dressing her up in the tutus with matching headbands.  She looked so beautiful in both the navy and red (I have lots of colours to choose from all with matching headbands – well, a girl must accessorise!).  For this session we used my cream wood panelled backdrop and shabby chic white wood floor but there’s lots of choices there too.  I’m all about giving you options to create your perfect set of images – I have it all set up so that it’s quick and easy to change so we can swap things even in the middle of the session.

The Joey Club is my baby photography club and membership gives you three sessions in your baby’s first year – one each at four, eight and twelve months.  At the end of the year, you pick your favourite image from each session to display in a triple aperture wall frame.  Membership includes your sessions and the frame and costs £39.95 (or it’s free if you have booked a newborn photo shoot at the studio).  There’s no sales session or minimum spend – you simply view your images in your private online gallery after your session and order any more that you would like.
