Maternity Photography – Celebrate your Pregnancy with a Bump Photo Shoot!

Celebrate your bump with a maternity or pregnancy photo shoot in my studio (in Crawley Down, near East Grinstead).  It’s a crazy time when you’re pregnant and there is so much going on it is quite easy to get to the end of it all and not have any record of the time when your baby was still a bump.  A pregnancy photo shoot is a great way to capture these earliest of family memories.

You can choose exactly how you’d like your session to go – cute with props on the bump, dad involved, nude or implied nude and more emotional shots – whatever you would like.  There’s a bit of a misconception I find around maternity photography that it automatically involves taking your clothes off but that’s your call. There’s great pictures we can create together either way! The whole session is geared towards you being comfortable and relaxed both mentally and physically – let’s face it, it’s hard to pose for a photo when you have a baby foot stuck up under your ribs!  We just move gently from idea to idea and adjust where necessary to give you a totally stress free experience.  I guide you through every step of the way…

I have some props you can include in your session but I’d always advise you to bring along anything that you would like to have in the photos.  This couple brought along a great range of props to include from first blanket and bootees through toys, outfits and scan pictures and it offered them a brilliant range of pictures that were totally personal to them.  The silhouette is a great way to celebrate your changing shape.
