This couple came to visit my studio for maternity portraits just a few weeks before their baby is due to arrive, it’s so hard to believe that this glamorous lady only has a few weeks to go.  She looks so fresh and gorgeous!

This session is a great example of clothed maternity photography and how it can work both for couples and for the mum to be.  A lot of ladies feel conscious about their shape when they’re pregnant which isn’t surprising as everything is changing so fast and you don’t have very long to get used to it.  I personally haven’t seen a bump that doesn’t look lovely to me but I can understand that it might be a bit of a daunting prospect to be getting your bump out in a studio with a relative strangers.  A fitted dress like the one that Andrea is wearing is perfect for a pregnancy photo shoot as it shows off the bump while keeping everything covered and you still get to have a lasting memento of your temporary shape during your pregnancy – something to treasure for years to come.

A maternity photo shoot includes your five favourite digital images to download at print quality, and costs £95.  I recommend that you book it for when you reach 36 – 37 weeks as you don’t want to go too close to the wire, but you’re welcome at any stage of your pregnancy.

I recommend coming for your maternity shoot when you are between 32 – 36 weeks pregnant so you have plenty of bump to show but you’re not getting too uncomfortable (also in case your baby decides to make an early appearance).  My maternity shoots cost £95 and include your three favourite digital images (you’re also welcome to borrow any of my gorgeous maternity photo shoot dresses while you’re in the studio).  You select your pictures and order any more that you would like directly from your online gallery, there’s no sales or viewing session to attend.
