Beautiful Natasha was a dream in the studio for her newborn photo shoot. Her Mum, Dad and big sister came along to capture images of them all together, the two sisters (who I’m sure will get up to lots of mischief together in the future) and just of their new arrival on her own.

Once she was fast asleep, she was happy to let me gently move and pose her, and dress her up on some beautiful little accessories. Included in these is my new floral crown which I just love for baby girl newborn shoots as it is so natural and delicate, just like it’s wearer.  I also had the chance to get out another favourite accessory of mine, my crystal tiara.  Beautiful in a whole different way from the dried flower crown, with it’s pretty sparkles but it’s perfect for my little visiting princesses.

A newborn photo shoot in my studio (I’m based in Crawley Down, near East Grinstead in West Sussex) includes your five favourite digital images to download at print quality and costs £95.  You see your images online in your private gallery approximately two weeks after your session and you select your images, and order any more you would like from there. After all you’ve just had a baby, the last thing you need to be doing is traipsing back to my studio for a viewing appointment and getting sold to.  If you’d prefer however, for me to come to your home with my boxes full of newborn photo shoot goodies and my giant posing beanbag, then you can book that for £125 (you still get to choose and download your five favourite digital images).

A newborn photo shoot is best when your baby is between 5 and 10 days old as this is when they are at their maximum sleepiness and poseability to capture those dreamy shots.  For this reason, I definitely recommend that you book when you are pregnant as this is one less thing to worry about scheduling when you’ve just got home from the hospital.   We make an appointment for your due date plus 7 days and then adjust it as needed.

My newborn shoots include your three favourite digital images which you select from your online gallery a few weeks after your photo shoot – I don’t make you attend a sales or viewing session.  Sessions take place in my warm and cosy studio in Crawley Down and cost £95.
