Baby Zach was definitely having sweet dreams in the studio when he came by for his first official newborn photos.

And yes I know, the common thinking is that those dreamy smiles are down to wind but I’m sorry, you aren’t taking them away from me – it’s smiling as far as I’m concerned. I mean, just look at his happy little face.

Of course, he didn’t smile for all his pictures (or sleep for that matter) but that’s the beautiful thing about newborn photo sessions and one of the things I love them most – you never know what’s going to happen.  It’s a little journey that you take together – there’s a plan but mostly you just put the newborn in the driving seat and see where they take you!   A mini-adventure for me every time – you certainly can’t get bored doing my job!

Newborn sessions are booked for an unhurried two hours in the studio and I never take back to back appointments (or indeed another newborn appointment on the same day so you can be sure of getting my very best attention).   The newborn studio is warm and cosy with a very comfortable sofa for you to relax on and an equally comfortable supersized beanbag for newborn to drift away on.  I have a wide range of blankets, accessories and props and of course you’re welcome to bring along anything else that you would like to include.

Each newborn session includes your five favourite digital images for you to download, print and share and also membership to my baby photography club which gives you three additional sessions during your first year twelve months together plus a triple aperture frame at the end of the year.  An excellent value way of capturing so many precious memories from your first year, all with no sales or viewing sessions.
