Baby Reece came to visit my studio in Crawley Down when he was just a few days old for his newborn photographs.  His mum decided that she would like the ‘birth announcement set’ which feature your baby’s date and time of birth, name and their birth weight – I set it all up in advance of your visit so it’s quick and simple to do and perfect for Christenings or Announcement cards.

His mum also brought along an amazing selection of props to include in her session – from home made gifts that she’d received, through to teddies, blankets that had been handmade for her and even a very special bib with her husband’s business name on it.  That was an extra special addition as it had been sneakily made by his colleague and given to her to surprise him with – pretty sure he’s going to love seeing it included in the shoot!

I have a range of props and accessories at the studio but you really can’t beat include some items of your own to really make your photo shoot unique and personal to you.

A newborn photo shoot is best when your baby is between 5 and 10 days old as this is when they are at their maximum sleepiness and poseability to capture those dreamy shots.  For this reason, I definitely recommend that you book when you are pregnant as this is one less thing to worry about scheduling when you’ve just got home from the hospital.   We make an appointment for your due date plus 7 days and then adjust it as needed.

My newborn shoots include your three favourite digital images which you select from your online gallery a few weeks after your photo shoot – I don’t make you attend a sales or viewing session.  Sessions take place in my warm and cosy studio in Crawley Down and cost £95.
